How we use your information.

Last updated October 11, 2026. This notice describes how Mackdog Tree Services, LLC handles information through this website and while managing your service requests.

Information we collect

We collect the contact details, service address, project description, preferred dates, and optional property photos you provide. We also keep service communications, estimates, job records, work photos, invoices, and payment records. Payment records can include the amount, method, date, and reference; this website does not collect your bank login or process online payments.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to requests, prepare estimates, schedule and perform work, document job conditions and completion, issue invoices and receipts, keep business records, and address questions or concerns. If you request a veteran discount, we check veteran identification without retaining a copy of your ID.

Website and service providers

Netlify hosts this website. Supabase supports our database, staff sign-in, and file storage. We use email, including Gmail, and phone or text services to communicate with customers. These providers process the information needed to operate their services. Website requests may generate technical information such as an IP address, browser details, and access logs. Staff sign-in uses cookies, and expense forms may temporarily save a draft on the staff member’s device.

Reviews, referrals, and communication choices

If you submit a review and give publication permission, your display name, rating, review, service, and submission date may appear publicly. Your review contact email stays private. We check submissions for spam and private information using the same rules for positive and critical feedback.

Referral information helps us verify a referral and issue a discount to the referring customer. With your permission, we send service reminders and promotional offers by email, including a follow-up after three months from your last completed service. You can unsubscribe through any offer email. Service texts require your permission and can be stopped by replying STOP. These choices do not prevent you from requesting service.

When connected, Resend delivers business emails and Twilio delivers service texts. We share the recipient details, document links, and message content needed for delivery, and record delivery status and opt-outs. We do not sell your contact details.

Customer document links and photos

Customer estimates and invoices are accessible through their individual links. Anyone you share a link with may be able to view that document. Invoices can include before, during, and after photos of the work. Avoid uploading unrelated personal or sensitive information.

How long we retain information

We retain customer information, service records, communications, and property photos for at least four years. We may keep records longer for ongoing work, bookkeeping, resolving disputes, or applicable recordkeeping requirements. This is a minimum retention period, not a promise of automatic deletion after four years.

Questions, corrections, and deletion requests

Email Mackdogtreeservices@gmail.com to ask about your information, request a correction, or request deletion. We review requests and may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to remain in our records because of retention requirements, ongoing work, or unresolved matters.
