Storm and emergency work is available outside normal hours, subject to availability and safe access. A 25% surcharge applies to new jobs starting from 5 PM to 8 AM (Eastern time). Jobs started during normal hours have no surcharge if they continue past 5 PM.
Estimates & payment
Estimates are free and valid for 30 days. Requested dates are subject to confirmation.
Payment is due at completion. We accept cash, check, and Zelle. Make checks payable to Mackdog Tree Services, LLC. Payment instructions appear on your invoice.
A 35% deposit is required when the final agreed job total is $5,000 or more, after discounts, surcharges, and any applicable tax. No deposit is required below $5,000. Deposits are refundable until 24 hours before the scheduled job and are forfeited for customer cancellations within 24 hours. If weather or MackDog causes a cancellation, you may choose a deposit refund or reschedule with the deposit carried forward.
No minimum service charge, separate travel or disposal fees, or cancellation/rescheduling fees. The after-hours surcharge and deposit policy apply as described.
Veteran discount
Verified veterans receive 10% off all services, including the after-hours surcharge. Show veteran identification or an ID/license with a veteran designation; we do not retain ID copies.
